Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo Okeke, born in the month of November 2009, is a young creative artist who’s works has graced the walls of several galleries and museums in Nigeria, Europe, other parts of Africa in the last few years, gaining wide acceptance in the art world with Art collectors and enthusiasts viewing his works.
In September 2018, Kanyes’ art along with that of three other talented Nigerian artistes, was featured for the first time ever, at the Opec Fund for International Development (OFID) Vienna yearly art exhibition with that edition titled “Scenes of Peace”. The other artistes included Ben Ibebe, Kaltume Ganaand and Amedu Iklaga.

Ijele
Ijele is bold, Majestic, great and spiritual. It is the only Masquerade in Igbo land that has the powers to perform ceremonies for great personalities like the Kings and very high titleholders.
In Ijele, one can see these spiritual powers even in Kanyeyachukwu’s colour delivery. The red is bold strong and spiritual.
